Fellowship Course on Human Rights and Women: Mexico

The Centro de Derechos Humanos (CDH) decided to increase its number of courses by offering an adapted version of the Fellowship Course "Human Rights and Women: Theory and Practice" in Latin American countries. The first pilot course was conducted in Mexico City, in collaboration with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mexico, the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM) and UNIFEM. Academic activities are carried out jointly by CDH professors and Mexican guest professors.

As with the original version, the in situ Fellowship Course is aimed at lawyers who work in the defense and protection of women´s rights. The course uses a partial classroom-based approach.
